Tax filings, federal award data, county records, grant histories — the paper trail on your organization and on the people who could fund it is public, and it is enormous.
We work the seams between datasets. A trustee named in a tax filing, a grant recorded in a federal award system, a board seat disclosed three years ago — separately they're trivia. Taken together, they're a map of who funds work like yours and who can make the introduction.
That's one way in. Sometimes the answer is sitting in the records. Sometimes it's in how your week actually runs. Either way, we put a number on it, show you where it came from, and tell you what to do next.
Start a conversationHow this works
You tell us what takes too long, breaks too often, or costs more than it should. Then we go look — at your records, your funders' records, your competitors' filings — and come back with what's actually there.
Every answer we give you carries a source. A form number, a statute, a filing, a dataset. If we can't show you where it came from, we don't say it.
Sometimes the fix is software you already pay for and aren't using right. Sometimes it's a process rebuilt. Sometimes it's money you qualify for and never applied to. And sometimes we look and find nothing worth fixing — that's a shorter conversation, but it's an honest one.
Capabilities
A complete funding workup for organizations that are better at the mission than at asking for money.
Most small nonprofits ask the same donors they asked last year, while private foundations sit on money the tax code requires them to pay out — 5 percent of their non-charitable-use assets every year, or they owe an excise tax on what they kept. Every one of those foundations files a public return listing the grants it made and naming its trustees. Plenty of them have no website and no application portal, which is exactly why searching for them turns up nothing.
A list is worthless if nobody makes the call. We stay on it until someone does.

Before you talk to anybody — including us — run your own organization through the free nonprofit toolbox. Look up what the IRS actually has on file for your EIN, check which 990 you're required to file, see how much of your funding depends on one relationship, and find out which free software programs you qualify for.

Double entry between systems. A report somebody rebuilds by hand every week. Scheduling that runs on memory and text messages. Paperwork that moves at the speed of whoever remembers to move it.
We map what's actually happening, find where the hours go, and put a dollar figure on it. Then we fix it — with automation, better use of tools you already pay for, or a vendor we bring in.
Business you should be winning and aren't.
Leads that go cold because nobody followed up. Quotes that take three days when a competitor's takes an hour. Customers who bought once and never heard from you again. Pricing that hasn't moved while your costs have.
We look at where business enters and where it leaks, then tell you which gap is worth closing first.
Data you already own, turned into decisions you can act on.
Who's funding work like ours. What our competitors charge. Which regulation applies. Who actually makes the buying decision at that company. Where the grant money went last year.
Public records hold far more than most people realize. We know where to look, and we cite where every answer came from.
